dear badass girl,

Hi, we’re lily and eliza!

lead mentor + founder of badass girls

What if you had a big sister who had your back no matter what? Who you could talk to about whatever (yeah, the really real stuff)? And she got it?

We’re the sassy, soft (professional) big sisters at the heart of Badass Girls (it’s the best job). Eliza founded Badass Girls over a decade ago, and now Lily is the Lead Mentor (with over a decade of experience mentoring and training from Eliza).

We’re obsessed with you feeling free to be real.

words from badass young humans:

Being mentored is like coming home to yourself and the best community of people. I always felt like ‘too much’ in my friendships — and finally, here’s a place where I can just be my real, imperfect self.
— Emily, age 17
Beforehand I thought my mentor would want to change or fix me to help me be better, but actually she just wanted to get to know me, the real me.
— Hanna, age 13
Having a mentor is like having the best big sister you can tell anything to. I feel like there’s me ‘before retreat’ and ‘after retreat’. It’s that simple. My whole life changed.
— Anja, age 17
There was a spontaneous dance party on the retreat… I’ll never forget it. My mentor turned on the best music and we just danced and I felt the most pure joy. It’s one of the happiest moments of my life.
— Ky, age 14
Our mentorship circle was one of the safest places I know. I wasn’t someone who ever really planned on being open with people about my feelings. Now I’ve got some of my best friends in this community. If you’re feeling shy, you’re not alone!
— Xola, age 15
